Surgutneftegas says swings to 16 bln rbl IFRS net loss in Jan–June

MOSCOW, Aug 29 (PRIME) -- Russian oil and gas company Surgutneftegas posted a net loss of 15.52 billion rubles in January–June after a net profit of 390 billion rubles in the same period a year before, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the company said in a statement on Thursday.

Revenue grew 10.6% to 807 billion rubles. Operating profit increased 12% to 222.4 billion rubles.
